A leading industrial supplies distributor is looking for an eCommerce and Marketing Manager to join their team.
The Role
They are currently recruiting for an eCommerce and Marketing Manager who will play a pivotal role in leading the online proposition and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a marketing team, optimising the eCommerce operations, driving revenue, and expanding their online presence with the guiding principle of making it easy for the customer to do business with.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a proven track record in boosting online sales and optimizing conversion rates. They will possess a strategic mindset, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to effectively coordinate cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce and marketing strategy that aligns with business goals to drive lead generation, sales growth, and overall revenue.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Purchasing, Commercial and Retail Managers, and Product Management teams, to create effective product range strategies.
- Take ownership of a multi-channel campaign plan and calendar, covering all paid digital channels, email marketing CRM, and eCommerce promotions, to ensure cross-functional visibility and coordination.
- Regularly analyze and report on the performance of eCommerce and marketing initiatives.
- Manage the eCommerce and marketing P&L, ensuring effective allocation of budget and resources to meet ROI objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team, optimizing the use of individual skills.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated success in an eCommerce/marketing role, ideally within a similar B2B/B2C environment, is essential.
- Strong commercial expertise, with a deep understanding of the marketing funnel and its application for driving growth, is required.
- Proficiency in digital platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing strategies is a must.
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization are necessary.
- Proven experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and engage team members, is essential.
- Experience in aligning stock management and operations with the broader eCommerce strategy is required.
- A highly analytical and methodical approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to use data for decision-making and problem-solving, is essential.
- Ideally, candidates will hold a relevant degree and possess CIM and IDM accreditations.
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
