Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Group External Reporting Manager to join our Group External Reporting team.

The role is designed to support Finance Managers in the team with the production and reporting of Group External Reporting deliverables, which include IFRS financial and regulatory reports.

What you'll be doing:

  • Producing quarterly production of Group Non Treasury trial balance
  • Working with the share team on the monthly ShareSave allotment reconciliation
  • Monitor Group Non Treasury bank account and produce quarterly reconciliation
  • Collaborate with the Treasury on transactions requiring entry in the Group Non-Treasury accounts
  • Liaise with the divisions reporting teams on their expenses posting and allocation
  • Quarterly production of share plan trusts trial balance
  • Work with the share team on reconciling the share trusts closing balance
  • Production of the Group Plc solo accounts at year end
  • Provide update to the tax team and assist them on any return queries on Group Plc
  • Run the annual emoluments process for entities across the business.
  • Work with the reward team on completing the directors’ remuneration report

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • A-Level or Advanced Apprenticeship in Maths, Economics, Finance or a relevant numerate subject at B or equivalent
  • Any degree at 2:1 or a Higher Apprenticeship at level 6
  • A recognised accountancy qualification is necessary for this role (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
  • Knowledge in the use of Microsoft tools.
  • Self-disciplined, reliable and responsible
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking
  • An enthusiastic learner
  • Genuine interest in Accountancy
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
