About You:

  • A qualified and experienced clinical psychologist with some managerial experience
  • You have a deep understanding of complex mental health and forensic needs to support the development and embedding of a trauma-informed mental health service model
  • You are able to upskill frontline professionals in their daily interactions
  • You are passionate about safeguarding and ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • You are a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

What You'll Do:

  • BPS accredited Doctoral Level postgraduate professional training course in clinical psychology or its equivalent.
  • you'll need assessed experience of working as a qualified clinical/forensic/counselling psychologist for a minimum of 3 years post qualification with highly developed theoretical and practical knowledge of the field of clinical/forensic psychology, consistent with doctoral level professional training and further post qualification study, training and supervised experience as a qualified psychologist.
  • Use your understanding the models of psychopathology, psychometric and neuropsychological assessment, and lifespan developmental psychology
  • Experience with group based and 1:1 assessments
  • Experience working with a range of client groups
  • Experience including specialist clinical interviewing, behavioural observation, complex psychometric testing and specialist neuropsychological testing.
  • Lead a team of staff, providing support, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans within your team
  • Build strong relationships
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
