JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational and fulfilment day-to-day processes and activities run smoothly. You will take a lead role in managing the global fulfilment for both D2C and wholesale, inventory management and work alongside the commercial team deliver commercial stock-based initiatives.

We are looking for a sharp personality who will own their role in an energetic, entrepreneurial environment.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

Lead Our Global Fulfilment

·      Manage our third-party warehouse partners to ensure all orders globally are dispatched in an accurate and timely manner.

·      Uploading and ensuring smoothness with all inbound POs, ASN etc. Making sure all goods received are arriving correctly and on time.

·      Review the global courier landscape to drive cost efficiencies and service improvements with a specific focus on USA.

·      Ensure suitable fulfilment setup to support our ongoing product expansion across footwear, accessories and apparel.

·      Look to expand out our logistics options for customers offering services such as click and collect and same day delivery in certain regions.

·      Evaluate and introduce a DDP option for European customers.

·      Review feasibility of strategically placed 3PL solutions across key markets.

·      Evaluate ways to keep inbound shipping costs down.

·      Own our packaging strategy and packaging inventory management.


 

Finance

·      Work closely with our FD to ensure all supplier & wholesale payments are correctly managed.

·      Ensuring that all required financial information matches with that in Unleashed – our inventory purchasing software. 

·      Creating a monthly stock reconciliation report that takes all online, wholesale and bespoke transactions and ensures that Unleashed, Mintsoft and Shopify all correctly match up.

·      Monthly analysis of operation’s impact on the P&L performance across the brand

 

 

Inventory Management

·      Help with managing weekly stock forecasting model that reports on our current stock levels, weekly sales and projected sales. Using this model to inform replenishment orders and guide marketing decisions. Keeping our core product in stock and flushing out poor performing stock is key for us so a good merchandising head will definitely help.

·      Creating and managing a production planner that details all stock flow movements and timings and providing this to the team. Reporting on zero stock items.

·      Continual monitoring of stock levels to ensure we’re always in stock of key styles.

·      Defining and executing stock liquidation strategies for dead stock.

·      Work super closely with the production manager to ensure efficient stock movement from suppliers to desired destination from a D2C and wholesale POV.

 

Warehouse Management Software

·      Managing our WMS to ensure everything runs as accurately and smoothly as possible.

·      Performing accounting reconciliations as required by our FD.


Development

·      Continual efforts to ensure our global operations are setup to be as effective as possible.

·      Working closely with the COO to commercially drive the business forwards in all key areas.

 

ABOUT YOU

·      A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managerial operations role for a retail brand across D2C and wholesale.

·      Must be extremely organised, have high attention to detail, high level of accuracy, ability to meet established deadlines and the ability to work under pressure.

·      Strong level experience with MS Excel.

·      Solid experience in wholesale fulfilment is a benefit.

·      Ability to collaborate and work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to rapid change.
