Purpose of the Role:

Blackacre are an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors & Valuers, regulated by the RICS. The team have extensive experience & knowledge, along with a holistic understanding of buildings and the property market, which allows them to provide a wide range of services.

Due to their organic growth, they are now looking to welcome an AssocRICS Surveyor to their team of experts.

About you:

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Building Surveyor with experience to join the team and help with the day-to-day Building Surveying and Valuation activities across the London and Greater London region. The ideal candidate will have a couple of years of relevant experience as an AssocRICS surveyor, within a range of services, as well as willing to learn and develop their career further.

Day to day work will be predominately involve undertaking pre-purchase Building Surveys, Homebuyers Surveys and private Valuations on both residential and commercial property. However, there is a varied workload, with several other services to get stuck into inc:

- Scopes of Work & Contract Administration

- Building Pathology / defects

- RCAs

- Schedules of Condition

- Schedules of Dilapidations

- Party Walls

- Rights of Light

- Measured Surveys / 3d scanning

 

About Us:

Blackacre are a young firm, made up of two Directors (Building Surveyor and General Practice Surveyor / Registered Valuer. After both working in London for many years, they have used their knowledge and contacts to start something new. Providing a high quality of work with a customer focused service. They pride themselves on their wide-ranging client base, providing a multi-disciplinary service within the residential and commercial property sector.


Blackacre’s workload is steadily growing, and they are looking to increase in size rapidly in the coming years. They are ambitious and intend to introduce a number of departments including Property Management and Agency. Nevertheless, when it comes to Building Surveying, they aim to stick to their core values of a good quality and a well-researched service, any new team member would need to be happy with this approach.
