Key Responsibilities:

  • NC Programming: Develop CNC programs for Bystronic laser and press brake machines using BysoftCam software to meet works order requirements.
  • Lathe Programming: Create CNC programs for CNC lathes utilizing Autodesk Fusion software.
  • MRP Management: Review and process weekly MRP (Material Requirements Planning) reports to generate works order prints and drawings for shop floor distribution.
  • Technical Modifications: Implement and process technical modifications from the technical department to support product improvements.
  • Time Sheet Management: Input and process weekly shop floor time sheets for our accounts department.
  • Materials Management: Co-ordinate and issue steel requirements for all nested programs to the production team for ordering.


Skills and attitude:

  • Collaboration: Ability to liaise effectively with the Factory Manager, shop floor supervisors, and laser, press, and machine shop operatives.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy with a solid understanding of Word and Excel. Familiarity with CNC machines is highly desirable.
  • Technical Understanding: Ideally, you will be able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
  • Responsibility & Reliability: Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality work consistently.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for accuracy and precision in all tasks.
  • Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to develop your skills and grow within the company.
