Senior Business Analyst - Finance Transformation Technology


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic Finance Transformation product team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) systems implementation, functional specifications, product management, and ideally Anaplan. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of FP&A systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and document detailed functional specifications to guide system development and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with product management teams to define and prioritize product features and improvements.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Anaplan, providing guidance and support to ensure effective utilization.
  • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and provide project updates.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and user satisfaction.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to maximize system adoption and efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical business analyst role, with a focus on FP&A systems implementation.
  • Proven experience with Anaplan or other FP&A tools - Tagetik / EPBCS.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Experience in product management and agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Anaplan or other relevant FP&A systems.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management.
