Data Engineer | Remote | 6 Month Contract Outside IR35
Our client is looking to onboard a talented Data Engineer with deep expertise in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), multidimensional cube modelling, and the Kimball methodology for data warehousing/modelling.
This is a 6-month initial contract, working fully remote and operating outside IR35.
Rate will be billable per day, circa £550
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SSAS multidimensional cubes to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Implement data models using the Kimball methodology to ensure scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Optimize and tune data models and cube performance to meet the demands of our growing data needs.
- Develop ETL processes to load data into the data warehouse and cubes efficiently.
- Ensure data quality and consistency through robust data validation and cleansing processes.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SSAS cubes and related data structures.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering and business intelligence technologies.
