Our client is looking for a Head of Compliance to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of compliance monitoring systems, processes, and procedures to guarantee safety, regulatory, and compliance standards are consistently met.
As a UK-leading airline, this is an opportunity for an individual to make a positive internal and external impact on the business moving forward. This role will involve some occasional travel for site inspections and audits. Our client is willing to be flexible to the right candidate regarding hybrid working practices.
You will lead and develop effective compliance monitoring systems and mentor the compliance team to develop individuals within the team. You will be expected to use your industry experience to provide guidance and support to operational and maintenance teams in interpreting and applying UKCAA regulations. Your impact will stretch across the organisation, developing and delivering training programs for staff at all levels. Furthermore, your engagement and interactions with staff across the business is important and you will develop positive constructive working relationships with managers, demonstrating personal competence, reliability and being a valued member of the wider company team.
The following experience is essential for this role:
- A current UKCAA-approved Compliance Monitoring Manager Form 4 position for AOC, ATO and Part CAMO within commercial air transport organisation or meets all the regulatory requirements as stipulated in the relevant regulations to hold the Form 4 positions for AOC, ATO and Part CAMO.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience with UKCAA regulations, including AOC, ATO, and Part CAMO requirements.
- A background in aviation safety, compliance monitoring, or regulatory affairs.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in aviation compliance or audit roles for AOC, ATO and Part CAMO.
- Strong understanding of safety management systems (SMS), compliance monitoring
- systems, and regulatory auditing.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
