*Job Responsibilities:* *As an Assistant Manager, you will:*
* Provide effective leadership over a team of staff
* Report directly to the Store Manager
* Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including all duties of counter and kitchen staff
* Maintain high store standards in customer service and store condition
* Operate the till and handle cashing up at night, including banking
* Carry out and record necessary checks and cleaning
* Open and close the store
* Ensure the store is adequately staffed and stocked, organising staff and tasks fairly
* Maintain high standards of training for staff
* Increase sales while managing wage costs
*Requirements:* *Successful applicants must:*
* Have previous experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality
* Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
* Be tidy, self-disciplined, and punctual, setting a good example for other staff
* Be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
* Bring enthusiastic energy to the team and motivate them to work hard
* Be open to growth within the company
* Have a willingness to learn
* Be comfortable interviewing new staff for your team
* Be able to deal with complaints in a positive and efficient manner
