DATAHEAD is partnering with a world-leading global communications agency to find a Principal Analyst specialised in Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) and Data Science. As a Principal Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role within a dynamic UK Analytics & Insight team, directly influencing key strategic decisions for a globally renowned retail brand.

This role places you at the cutting edge of advanced analytics, where you will lead impactful modelling projects, transform insights into actionable strategies, and drive significant business outcomes.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Within 12 Months: Lead multiple high-profile modelling projects, drive process improvements, and develop strategic recommendations with significant client impact.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute MMM projects, ensuring statistical rigour and actionable insights.
  • Engage closely with internal stakeholders, clearly communicating complex analyses.
  • Continuously enhance and refine modelling methods and processes.
  • Mentor junior analysts, fostering professional growth and analytical excellence.

Your Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 4 years hands-on Marketing Mix Modelling experience using rich, complex datasets.
  • Degree-level education in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Sciences, or related numerical discipline.
  • Strong technical proficiency in time series econometrics and modelling within media or marketing.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking, numerical accuracy, and mathematical rigour.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, R, and/or other statistical programming languages.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
