The Senior Data & Insight Manager will be used to working in a fast-paced environment, with a commercial attitude, excellent management skills and be highly analytical. You will sit in the ecommerce team, report to the Ecommerce Director, and be responsible for developing and maintaining all internal reports across all functions, ensuring all reporting requirements are captured, and translated into user friendly PowerBI dashboards to enable to the team to self-serve data. The role will also be key in providing insight and recommendations to the team.


The primary responsibilities involve:


  • leading an in-house analytics team, focusing on workload management, training, and development.
  • The role requires transforming existing Excel-based reports into user-friendly PowerBI dashboards to enable self-service across the business.
  • This includes collaborating with various departments to gather requirements, designing a centralised PowerBI reporting structure, and integrating data from both internal and external sources.
  • The position also entails maintaining the accuracy and accessibility of reports, streamlining processes through automation, managing reporting projects, and providing training to maximise the impact of analytics.
  • Additionally, the role includes overseeing web analytics, ensuring proper Google Analytics configuration, improving digital channel performance through data insights, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders


Key experience needed:


  • The Senior Data & Insight Manager role ideally requires experience includes at least two or three years of hands-on work with Power BI, particularly in developing data feeds, creating dashboards, and managing automation.
  • The candidate should have 3-5 years of analytical experience with a strong focus on deriving actionable insights, along with three years of experience using Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency in Google Big Query, SQL/WPS, and advanced skills in Excel and MS Access are essential.
  • Additionally, the candidate should have experience managing large, complex datasets and possess team management skills, including resource management and personal development.
