We are supporting a national charity to add to their Individual Giving team. There are currently two vacancies: an Individual Giving Manager (12-month Contract) and an Individual Giving Officer (Permanent), both of which are Hybrid with one day per week in our client’s Cambridgeshire office.
About the Roles:
We are looking for direct marketers with experience in the charity industry to develop the strategy, planning, execution and analysis of individual giving campaigns to maximise donations from existing supporters and attract new ones.
Individual Giving Manager:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute individual giving programmes, including budgeting and forecasting for maximum return on investment.
- Support the Head of Individual Giving in implementing the Individual Giving strategy.
- Lead and motivate two direct reports
- Manage income and expenditure budgets, conduct regular forecasting, and analyse results to improve future campaigns.
- Oversee multi-channel campaigns and the Lottery programme to enhance supporter acquisition and retention.
- Ensure compliance with fundraising best practices and data protection regulations.
- Create targeted data briefs for effective supporter segmentation and engagement.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience managing end-to-end individual giving or marketing campaigns in a charitable organisation.
- Proven track record in delivering successful marketing activities.
- Proficiency with supporter databases and data segmentation.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of data protection regulations
Individual Giving Officer:
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to developing and implementing the individual giving strategy, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns, ensuring data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
- Manage campaign budgets and supplier relationships to maximise ROI and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with fundraising best practices and data protection laws.
- Develop data briefs for targeted supporter engagement and work with the Database Manager for accuracy.
- Coordinate with the Supporter Care Team to ensure seamless integration of online and phone donations.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a marketing.
- Proven track record in delivering end-to-end marketing activities.
- Experience using a supporter database.
- Strong skills in data segmentation and analysis.
- Good knowledge of the charitable sector and fundraising regulations.
