Role Overview:

The company seeks a talented individual to join their UK engineering center as a Project Services Manager. This role is pivotal in steering projects and driving decisions, leveraging broad project experience, cost estimating, and scheduling expertise. Operating within a multidisciplinary team, the PCM will engage with external clients, contractors, and the supply chain.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities among project functions and engineering disciplines.
  • Develop, oversee, and control integrated schedules for projects and technology deployment.
  • Oversee cost estimating activities and support benchmark development.
  • Assist in proposal development, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Identify and manage project risks, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Implement and improve project management tools and processes.
  • Ensure effective document control and communication of project issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at various levels.

Requirements:

  • Accredited Degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Professional membership of a recognized body.
  • Proven experience in project development within complex technical environments.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, SAP, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle phases and methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to environmental sustainability.
  • Familiarity with AACE estimate classes and market dynamics associated with the Energy Transition is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to uncertainty and change with high initiative and energy.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in project engineering or interface engineering.
