Roles & Responsibilities-

Must have GCP WAF

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), and a proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions in cloud environments. As a Cloud Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses to support our organization's data needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient data architectures.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement scalable data architectures on GCP and AWS to support various business use cases.
  2. Develop and maintain data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from diverse sources into data lakes and warehouses.
  3. Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure high performance and reliability.
  4. Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  5. Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and best practices in data architecture and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our data capabilities.
  6. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure proper setup and configuration of cloud environments for data processing and storage.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation related to data architecture, data flows, and data models.
  8. Provide guidance and support to development teams on data-related issues and best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  2. Extensive experience designing and implementing data solutions in cloud environments, with a focus on GCP and AWS.
  3. Strong proficiency in cloud-based data storage technologies such as Google BigQuery, Amazon S3, and Redshift.
  4. Hands-on experience with data processing frameworks and tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Beam, and TensorFlow.
  5. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  6. Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and database technologies.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
  8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  9. Relevant certifications in cloud computing (e.g., Google Cloud Certified - Professional Data Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
