Financial Controller
We're on the hunt for a Financial Controller to join luxury PR agency based in South West London. This agency specialises in providing strategic communication solutions for a diverse range of clients across various luxury industries. Their dynamic team is committed to delivering innovative and impactful campaigns that drive results and exceed client expectations in the Marcomms sector.
The role of Financial Controller will oversee all financial aspects of operations. As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the agency ensuring that all financial operations are conducted efficiently, in compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation of VAT returns and ensure timely submission.
- Manage the entire invoice process, from issuance to payment, including monitoring accounts receivable and payable.
- Develop and maintain the company's budget, monitoring spending against forecast and making necessary adjustments.
- Process employee expenses, ensuring all claims adhere to company policies.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Liaise with external auditors and advisors as required.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a financial management role.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting requirements, including VAT, payroll, and compliance matters.
- Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
