Principal ASIC Verification Engineer


Join a dynamic team based in Bristol as a Principal ASIC Verification Engineer and play a key role in the development of cutting-edge WiFi SoC products. As a leader in the verification team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and drive the verification strategy for complex ASIC designs.


Responsibilities:

  • Support verification efforts for WiFi SoC ASIC designs, including defining verification methodologies and strategies
  • Develop and implement UVM-based testbenches and verification environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful verification of complex ASIC designs
  • Mentor and guide junior verification engineers to ensure high-quality verification work
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of verification processes and methodologies


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Extensive experience in ASIC verification, with a focus on WiFi SoC designs
  • Proficiency in UVM methodology and SystemVerilog
  • Strong understanding of verification methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills


Day-to-day:

As a Principal ASIC Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the verification efforts for WiFi SoC ASIC designs. Your day-to-day activities will include collaborating with design and architecture teams, developing and implementing UVM-based testbenches, and guiding junior engineers in verification tasks. You will also be involved in defining verification strategies and continuously improving verification processes.
