Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of AI-driven products and projects, engaging with various business functions to apply deep machine learning expertise.
  • Design and deploy advanced machine learning models that solve critical business problems.
  • Translate business challenges into AI solutions, going beyond stated requirements to understand the true commercial need.
  • Challenge existing processes and drive innovation through technical excellence.
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI and technology trends to keep our client at the forefront of what's possible.

What Makes a Great Candidate

  • Strong theoretical and practical machine learning knowledge, with hands-on experience deploying LLMs in production.
  • Expertise in prompt engineering, retrieval pipelines, and AI agentic workflows.
  • Understanding of LLM inference stack fundamentals, such as KV caching, speculative decoding, and parallel decoding.
  • Excellent programming and system design skills—proficiency in Python and ideally one of C++, Java, or .Net.
  • Experience working with SQL databases and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to take ownership and innovate.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in Financial Services is a plus but not required.
  • A strong academic background (bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field from a top university) and strong A-levels (or equivalent) results.
