The Role:

As a Collections Professional you will be the first point of contact for our Customers, working within our Contact Centre. You’ll be responsible for answering inbound calls, speaking with customers to understand their individual circumstances, listening closely so that you can determine the best way to support them. Your specialist focus will be customers who are in arrears, showing early indicators of financial hardship and vulnerability. Your role will be to find the best possible outcome for them, delivering first class tailored support based on their individual circumstances, to change their lives for the better.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Speaking with customers over the phone via both inbound and outbound calling
  • Empathising and engaging with customers, getting them to tell their story and explain their situation
  • Offering positive solutions to customers with arrears
  • To deliver a professional and consistent level of customer service
  • To develop repayment plans that are sustainable for each customer’s needs
  • Keeping internal systems up to date
