We have partnered with a branding and advertising agency who have over twenty years’ experience working within the not-for-profit/charity sector. Due to growth they currently have a great opportunity in their design studio for a senior level designer. They are based in London and working remote on Fridays and 4 days in the office.


Senior role - We are recruiting for an exceptional experienced designer to lead our creative team. You’ll be full of ideas, have a can-do attitude and be able to bring positivity to even the busiest of days. While your creative skills will do most of the talking, you’ll also be a strong verbal and written communicator, happy to present to clients at a senior level and equally at ease leading a team of junior/midweight colleagues. You should be comfortable designing across all channels - and always looking out for the next big thing.


Reporting to the Managing Director, your tasks will include, but won’t be limited to:

  • Setting the tone for the creative direction of the agency
  • Managing a team of junior and midweight designers
  • Managing additional external / freelance support when required
  • Producing compelling ideas for campaigns and advertising
  • Concept visualisation and scamps
  • Creative artworking
  • Typesetting

Requirements

  • Have completed a degree-level course, with a focus on graphic design/communication or advertising
  • Experience of managing junior colleagues
  • Have a keen interest in design trends across all channels
  • A flair for typography and amazing with layout
  • Be advanced and confident using Adobe Creative suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Be comfortable in a MacOS environment
  • Have 7+ years’ industry experience
  • Experience within the charity/non-profit sector a major plus
  • An understanding of the UK Jewish community would be beneficial but not essential
