The Role:

Our client is looking to recruit a highly organised and experienced AutoCAD Technician in Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. The design, development, and delivery of AutoCAD drawings, providing technically sound engineering solutions.
  2. Production of General Arrangement Drawings.
  3. Administration and custodian of Engineering Records.
  4. Asset Management and BOM structure development.
  5. Liaising with external suppliers and contractors to provide solutions to production and engineering challenges.
  6. Development of plant drawings to improve performance and reliability.
  7. Understanding and interpreting drawing and specifications to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and problems as they arise.
  8. Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
  9. Participate in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to provide updated on project status.
  10. Maintenance of Design Change Registers and ensuring appropriate levels of configuration control are applied.
  11. Well-developed time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously
  12. Ability to use Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
