Limax Studios is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team in Guildford We’re looking for someone who is passionate about social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and eager to be a part of a lively, energetic team focused on creating outstanding content. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team, specializing in creating eye-catching and engaging YouTube thumbnails.


Who you are:

As our Graphic Designer you’ll have a strong visual sense and a knack for creating attention-grabbing thumbnails that increase click-through rates and engage viewers. In addition to working on YouTube thumbnails, you will also collaborate on other graphic design tasks, such as social media graphics, branding materials, and more, as needed


Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Create compelling and visually striking YouTube thumbnails that align with our content strategy and brand identity.
  • Collaborate with video editors and creative assistants to ensure the thumbnails reflect the theme of the video and encourage audience engagement.
  • Analyse YouTube trends and best practices for thumbnail design to ensure our style stays relevant.
  • Assist in the creation of additional graphic design assets as needed, including social media graphics, banners, presentation materials etc.
  • Maintain consistency in design style and quality across all graphics, adhering to our brand guidelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest design tools, software, and YouTube trends, bringing fresh ideas to the table.


Your Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio that includes YouTube thumbnails or digital media.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) or equivalent graphic design software.
  • Experience designing click-worthy thumbnails for YouTube or other platforms is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of composition, colour theory, typography, and how visual elements impact engagement.
  • Ability to adapt design styles based on the needs of different channels or content themes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and creativity in developing engaging visuals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
