Diva has an exciting opportunity for a multi-disciplinary Middleweight Designer to join our award-winning Creative Agency. Working within our busy studio in central Bristol, you will join our team of gaming natives working with exciting clients in the fastest-growing entertainment industry in the world.

You'll be working on AAA quality design projects from initial ideation to final deliverables, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams including Client Services, 3D, Motion, Development, Artworking and Creative. While strong technical design and HTML capabilities are a valuable asset - especially for online campaigns, display ads, animations and social media placements - the role is a broad and balanced one, requiring excellent design sensibilities, brand guardianship, and an ability to drive high standards across digital and print. This is a pivotal role in the Studio, with responsibility on projects for global clients, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality in all outputs.

Key responsibilities

Creative & Technical Contributions

  • Execute projects from conception to production including toolkits, branding, artwork, keyart, digital and print assets.
  • Create and optimise assets (HTML, Static, Animated) for display advertising, homepage takeovers and social media.
  • Storyboard, create and execute concepts for digital animations.
  • Prepare files for localisation across multiple territories and formats.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, digital innovation, and developments in advertising and creative industries.
  • Become a brand guardian for key clients, ensuring alignment with guidelines and vision.
  • Present and justify design decisions with strategic rationale to clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with agency stakeholders across all disciplines.

Team Contributions

  • Drive projects at various scales, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is high.
  • Collaborate with the client services team to provide estimates and timelines.
  • Support and mentor junior designers to foster skill development and cohesion within the studio.
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Professional skills and experience

  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience with front-end development and HTML animation (CSS, JS, SVG, GSAP, Google Web Designer preferred).
  • Experience with social media design and multi-territory localisation.
  • Strong collaboration with senior creatives, copywriters, and project teams.
  • Good command of G-Suite, Microsoft 365.
  • Experience liaising with clients, media agencies, publishers, and site owners.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Confidence proofreading multilingual assets (understanding languages not required).
  • Code Academy certification or similar experience is beneficial.
