Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Software Engineer at Social Trade. The Software Engineer will be responsible for back-end web development, software development, programming, and object-oriented programming (OOP). Their day-to-day tasks will include coding, testing, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.


Committed to work 16-20 hours per week


Compensation: Equity within Social Trade and potential salary.


Technical Experience:

  • Typescript+Node backend with NestJS
  • AWS - Elastic Beanstalk, API GateWay, RDS, S3, etc
  • Docker, Docker Compose
  • PostgreSQL
  • GitHub Actions
  • OpenAI node SDK
  • Any frontend js framework/library
  • Authentication with OAuth or similar
  • An API which had users outside your own organisation
  • An API hosted on AWS
  • Sentiment analysis of social media data



Qualifications

  • Computer Science and Software Development skills
  • Back-End Web Development expertise
  • Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) knowledge
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
