MacGregor Black are working with a Consumer Goods business on the search for a Head of Finance. This is a permanent role based in the Darlington


As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading the finance function.


Key Responsibilities


  • Oversee and direct financial strategy, control systems, processes, and reporting activities
  • Produce and deliver comprehensive management information and analysis
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and manage cash flow effectively
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team to achieve excellence
  • Monitor and ensure the achievement of departmental budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs


What are we looking for?


  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA/ICAS).
  • Excellent Leadership Skills
  • 4+ years in Finance management
  • Experience in an FMCG environment advantageous but not a prerequisite
  • Line management experience
