We are looking to expand our Systems and Project Engineering capability, specifically in the leadeship level and are keen to hear from you if you feel you're ready to take the next step in your career.

Work Experience

Core Skills

  1. Work collaboratively with facilities engineering discipline leads to obtain engineering assistance required, define activities and jointly establish Statements of Work.
  2. Work collaboratively with the client leadership to ensure goals of engagement are fulfilled, new ideas are discussed and Workstream expansion Plans implemented
  3. Workload Management - Workload Planning & scheduling, Resource Management
  4. Generation of engineering estimates as part of work packaging
  5. Risk Management and Quality Assurance
  6. Drive Customer Satisfaction.
  7. Undertake technical and feasibility studies and site investigations
  8. Develop detailed requirement specifications
  9. Support projects as they evolve through the project engineering lifecycles
  10. Assess the potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertake risk management in specialist roles
  11. Review of project documentation
  12. Communicate and liaise effectively with a wide set of project stakeholders
  13. Think both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems
  14. Be adaptable, as project requirements evolve, and ensure relevant parties are notified of changes in the project
  15. Compile and peer review project and technical reports.

Software Skills

  1. Microsoft Office tools
  2. IBM DOORs (ideally)
  3. Familiarity with systems engineering tools used for MBSE

Domain Knowledge

  1. Good understanding of Project life cycle from concept, commissioning to operations and maintenance.
  2. Experience in design and construction phases especially in dock environment will be an added advantage.
  3. Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements management, system architecture, integration and verification and validation

Desired Skills:

  1. Good Communication skills - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens effectively; clarifies information as needed.
  2. Ability to handle discussions / communications independently.
  3. Works in a Collaborative environment.
  4. Experience in defining developing, and maturing systems engineering capabilities. Including tools, processes and methodologies.
  5. Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, technical teams and cross-functional groups to align systems engineering practices with business objectives
  6. Experience in providing training and mentoring engineers to enhance capability.
