Enterprise Security Architect

Position Overview: The Enterprise Security Architect is responsible for designing, building, and implementing robust security solutions.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and design customized solutions using a varied technology stack (Cloud AWS, IAM providers such as Ping and ForgeRock and API gateways such as Kong, Mulesoft etc)
- Work with DevOps teams to implement automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
- Ensure solutions are optimized for performance, availability, and cost, and provide recommendations for cost optimisation and resource utilisation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, security, and project managers, to ensure successful implementation and delivery of solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members and participate in knowledge-sharing and training initiatives.
- Stay current with relevant technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and provide thought leadership and guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
- Participate in pre-sales activities, including scoping, estimation, and proposal development, as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in Financial Services domain.
- AWS landing zone experience is required.
- Preference for consulting or services provider experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and deploying cloud-based solutions, including but not limited to AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, MongoDB, Kong API Gateway and Ping IAM.
- At least 5 years technical experience with cloud technologies and/or on-premises infrastructure.
- 4-5 years large-scale customer facing experience (e.g., enterprise).
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security.
- Experience with DevOps tools and processes, such as CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and configuration management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
