Head of AI Product/AI Product Lead | Tier 1 UK Bank | London, Manchester, Edinburgh


A Tier 1 UK Bank is seeking an Head of AI Product/AI Product Lead to spearhead the development and commercialisation of their new chatbot, which is projected to become the second most utilised channel for customer interaction in 2025. This role will leverage customer feedback to enhance the product and drive its market success, ensuring the chatbot's development aligns with strategic objectives and financial sustainability.


Responsibilities:


  • Product Oversight: Manage and oversee the entire product pipeline and roadmap for the chatbot, and ensure that product development aligns with strategic goals and customer needs.
  • Customer-Centric Development: Leverage customer feedback to continuously improve the chatbot, and ensure that the product meets high standards of customer satisfaction and usability.
  • Commercialisation: Drive the commercial aspects of the chatbot, focusing on increasing its usage and integrating it effectively within the business.
  • Risk and Budget Management: Oversee risk management and budgetary aspects of the product, ensuring sustainable and secure development practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the technology and business departments, ensuring cohesive and efficient product development and deployment.


Experience:


  • Proven understanding and experience in AI and chatbot technologies
  • Background in financial services, fintech, or telecommunications
  • Demonstrated ability or experience in commercialising a technology product
  • Strong ability to work with technical stakeholders to drive product success
  • Experience in optimizing risks and managing budgets effectively


This is a permanent role based in any of London, Manchester or Edinburgh with hybrid working, looking at 1-2 days per week.
