Job Overview:

As Tax Director, you will be responsible for leading our tax recruitment practice, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional results for our clients. You will leverage your extensive tax recruitment expertise to identify, attract, and place high-calibre tax professionals in senior-level positions across various industries. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our tax recruitment strategy, expanding our network, and solidifying our position as a market leader.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth, increase revenue, and expand our tax recruitment practice
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including multinational corporations, private equity firms, and leading financial institutions
  • Identify, source, and place top-tier tax professionals in senior-level positions, including Tax Directors, Heads of Tax, and Tax Partners
  • Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and stay abreast of regulatory changes to inform our recruitment strategy
  • Collaborate with our research team to develop targeted candidate pipelines and leverage our global network to identify exceptional talent
  • Provide expert guidance and counsel to clients on tax recruitment best practices, market trends, and talent management strategies
  • Manage and develop a team of tax recruitment consultants, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure their success
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including publishing industry insights, speaking at conferences, and participating in tax-focused events


Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in tax recruitment, with a proven track record of success in senior-level placements
  • In-depth knowledge of the tax profession, including tax laws, regulations, and industry trends
  • Strong network of contacts within the tax community, including senior-level tax professionals and industry leaders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in developing and executing business strategies
  • Bachelor's degree
