SEN Review Officer

Teqniq is searching for a *SEN Review Officer *to work in the public sector.

36 hours contract.

3 months contract.

*Job Description:*

• To support the development and coordination of the operational implementation of the EHCP review process. • To carry out and maintain accurate and timely records and work processes in the team including use of relevant IT systems. • To undertake the role of SEN Review Officer by: o Actively working with parents/carers, children, young people and families to explain about EHC review process and guide them through the process o Attending reviews for children and young people with EHCPs, as required o Writing and amending EHC plans • Work closely with families, schools and a range of service providers, including education, health, social care and voluntary sectors. • Ensure that the Council complies with the statutory timetable for the completion of statutory reviews. • Support the facilitation of meaningful, person-centred reviews of existing Education, Health and Care Plans. • Model best practice in accordance with part 3 of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the supporting code of practice.
