Operating throughout the UK, with a particular strong presence in Yorkshire and the North East - Richard Roberts is a specialist land promoter provides a full-service solution that helps landowner clients gain planning permission to sell their property, maximising its value for the seller and facilitating land for further residential development to the market. The team are experts in securing planning permission where there are seen to be potential constraints.


You


You are a motivated individual who enjoys working in a team environment as well as working independently. 

 

You will be tasked with management of the disposal of sites on behalf of Richard Roberts to a bank of developers that you had forged excellent relationships with. You have the knowledge and drive to learn the complex planning conditions of each site and speak confidently on any legal matter with solicitors. 

 

You are not afraid of picking up the phone to developers to get a deal over the line as you have a passion for delivering results for our landowner clients.

 

You are excited to learn new skills and further develop your existing skills with the support of the current land director. You are motivated to arrange first meetings with landowners in order by phone calls and farm knocking activities. 

 

You aspire to be the next Richard Robert’s land promoter. 

 

Experience required 

  • Experience in land and/or new homes/development sales.

 

Outlined responsibilities 

  • Carry out gross development and residual land valuations of Richard Roberts sites.
  • Market Richard Roberts sites including creation of marketing material, off market and on market marketing strategies, carrying out viewings. 
  • Negotiation offers on each site. 
  • Progressing the sales of each site to completion.
  • Create and manage a developer database. 
  • Working with the land promotion team to identify new site opportunities based on planning policies.
  • Identifying landowner contacts to book first meetings for the land promotion team. 
  • Marketing to landowners via direct farm knocking and phone calls. 
  • Attending first meetings in order to sign HOTs.
