Job description:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Lead Business Analyst to join our team. The Lead Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for our projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will lead a team of business analysts and collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of business solutions that meet organizational objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements.
  • Analyze and prioritize business requirements based on strategic objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Develop comprehensive business requirements documents, use cases, and user stories.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, including executives, managers, and end-users.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback and ensure stakeholder buy-in.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead a team of business analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment focused on achieving project goals.
  • Solution Design and Validation:
  • Work closely with solution architects and technical teams to design business solutions that meet requirements.
  • Validate proposed solutions against business requirements and objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to solution design and implementation.


Documentation and Reporting:

  • Document business processes, workflows, and requirements using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, business cases, and other documentation to stakeholders and project teams.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the business analysis function.
  • Implement best practices and standards for business analysis across projects and initiatives.
  • Provide input into strategic planning and decision-making processes based on business analysis insights.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing projects.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with requirements management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Microsoft Azure DevOps.

• Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) are a plus.
