Non Executive Director – Family Office

About Us

Hamilton Bradshaw is the family office of James Caan CBE, former panellist on the hit show Dragons’ Den. Established over 20 years ago, the firm has a proven track record of success, having invested in over 53 businesses, typically holding majority stakes of 50% or more.


Our investment portfolio is highly diversified, including equities, bonds, private equity (PE), venture capital (VC), and treasury products, ensuring a well-rounded and strategic approach. The firm is supported by a close-knit team of seven outstanding professionals, many of whom have been with us for over 14 to 20 years.


As part of our planned expansion in 2025, we are seeking a Non Executive Director to join our team.


The Role

As a NED, you will play a critical role in advising the team on various investment opportunities across a range of asset classes:


• Origination of new opportunities you will help the team through your network of advisors and introducers.

• Evaluation of opportunities and over sight of due diligence and analysis of each opportunity.

• Monitoring and Overseeing investments in private equity and venture capital funds.

• Debt Products: Strong expertise in debt products, including mezzanine finance, and structuring first charge debt for real estate transactions.


About You

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:


• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.

• Financial literacy and a deep understanding of investment structures and strategies.

• A strong network of advisors and introducers to support deal origination.

• A proven track record in managing PE and VC funds.

• Experience in evaluating investment opportunities with detailed and thorough due diligence.

• Knowledge of debt financing and structuring.
