Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an experienced mid-level* Environmental Geologist at Cornwall Mining Consultants in Camborne. You will be responsible for liaising with clients; researching, designing and conducting field work, environmental consulting, soil analysis, and contaminated land assessments on a regular basis. You will also be trained in mining subsidence research and assessment and on-site mining hazard investigation.


Qualifications

  • Field Work and Geological Assessment skills
  • Environmental Consulting expertise
  • Minimum 2-years practical experience*
  • Experience of the CLEA model
  • Knowledge of CL:AIRE
  • Strong background in Geology
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field

  • Geotechnical and Slope Stability
  • Geology or Mining History of South West
  • Mining subsidence assessment and remediation
  • Ground water and Ground gas assessment
