This scheme provides funding for properties and sets an Improvement options plan for an Energy Performance Certificate rating lower than D. Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Carpenter and joiner. Our company installs Internal and external wall insulation measurers on properties in the United Kingdom and Scotland. The applicant must coordinate with the team to book a property for installation and complete work within the given time frame with the Insulation team. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively coordinate with the office and installation teams. 


Qualifications and Job Description


·       Examines drawings and specifications to determine job requirements;

·       Selects and measures appropriate wood and cuts, shapes and drills to specification using saws, planes, chisels and other power or hand tools;

·       Aligns and fixes prepared wood pieces by screwing, nailing, glueing and dowelling to form frames, shop fronts, counter units, decking, theatrical sets, furniture, small wooden craft, scale models and wooden templates;

·       Checks accuracy of work with square, rule and spirit level; maintains and repairs


Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for the role include:

  • Minimum one year’s experience as a carpenter and joiner
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • Ability to relocate to the United Kingdom
  • Friendly and upbeat demeanour
  • IELTS minimum level of B1 (4.5 bands)
  • Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery (6 months minimum) optional

•       28 days annual leave, excluding bank holidays

•       Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (with 30min to 45min break), depending on weekly 37.5 hours weekly rota.
