Role Overview: We are currently recruiting a Shipping Export Administrator for a Maternity Cover 12 month contract, at our client's Ashton-under-Lynn site. This crucial role involves ensuring timely and cost-effective shipment processes while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely shipping documentation, considering export/import customs requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with packaging, customs, and customer-specific regulations.
  • Monitor and coordinate all outstanding orders for timely shipment and consolidation.
  • Manage export shipments and documentation on the 3PL system to avoid delays.
  • Cost shipments for freight invoicing and accrual purposes.
  • Assist in managing stock movements and obtaining carrier quotes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Generate pick sheets, delivery notes, and relevant paperwork accurately.
  • Coordinate warehouse activities for on-time delivery.
  • Investigate and rectify stock anomalies and manage sample dispatch.
  • Process returns efficiently, both physically and on SAP.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following health and safety standards.


Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with organizational and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of 'Incoterms' selling and buying tools.
  • Experience of UK Customs Export documentation
