Due to my clients continued growth, they have an opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join the commercial team. The company are now looking for a talented and ambitious individual to work within a close-knit and friendly team with a desire to develop and increase the growth of the business alongside their career.


The Role:


  • The successful candidate will be responsible for handling tenders from receipt to submission, ensuring that estimates are precise, competitive, and comply our internal procedures. The role involves close collaboration with the supply chain, internal teams, and clients to secure and deliver high-quality bids.
  • Estimating and tendering for projects across the whole of the UK within the industrial sector, typical value £200K – £15m
  • Prepare and present tender submissions, attend pre-and post tender meetings.
  • Manage time effectively to meet all deadlines.
  • Communicate with clients regarding tender status and negotiations.
  • Developing both product and service knowledge to represent the company to the highest of standards.
  • Working closely with Contracts, Commercial and Office departments throughout.


The Candidate:


  • The candidate must be organised, self-motivated, methodical with attention to detail and have excellent problem-solving skills, all supported by a high level of technological skills.
  • Experience and knowledge in roofing and wall cladding systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of negotiating and securing contracts are essential.
  • The candidate must be personable and able to establish long term relationships with clients to support future business growth.


You will possess excellent IT skills, and be fully converse with Microsoft Office.
