A wellness fragrance and skincare brand is looking for an experienced Store Manager who has a passion and flair for customer service to lead their Guildford Store.


With support from your Line Manager, you will oversee all aspects of your Store’s business from stock management and operations to local commercial strategy and customer events.


Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Be responsible for the day to day running of a standalone store and team
  • Drive forward sales, KPIs and company objectives
  • Be commercially driven, seeking constant brand opportunities to increase your store footfall
  • Complete targets, payroll, rotas, stocktakes, and weekly reports
  • Organise and support in-store and field events to promote the brand whilst working with partnering businesses
  • Recruit, develop and mentor a team with a focus on training and education
  • Always provide the highest standard of customer experience in store to inspire wellbeing
  • Use your initiative and be super proactive
  • Lead by example and support your team with daily tasks
  • Always maintain company standards
  • Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and visual merchandising are upheld
  • Lead training of current and new team members
  • Proactively identify opportunities to contribute to the wellbeing of our people and planet, fundraise for the partnered charity through in store events and/or brand partnerships
  • Lead and champion community initiatives
  • Take responsibility for any Health & Safety issues that arise and ensure the correct action is taken
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested by your Line Manager


We’re seeking a passionate and motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years managing a retail boutique/standalone store, ideally within the health and beauty industry. You’ll be a confident communicator who excels in using MS Office and Excel. We value strong teamwork, so you should be comfortable working collaboratively and maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.


This role requires a self-starter with impeccable organisational skills and a keen eye for detail who can thrive in a retail environment, including weekends and evenings. A genuine love for the brand and the beauty/wellness industry is a plus
