Project Engineer required for a top civil engineering and utilities company


Navartis is working with one of the top UK engineer design and build companies who operate in Water, Civil Engineering and Infrastructure sectors and work on many prestigious major projects across the UK, who have been established over 100 years.

You would join their team as a Project Engineer in their Southern Region and work some large projects in the East Sussex / West Sussex areas.


They have completed numerous major projects around the UK over the years and have some prestigious projects near the South Coast that they are currently working on and are looking for Civils Project Engineers and Mechanical Project Engineers.


Experience required:

  • Civil or Mechanical Engineering background
  • Water / Civil Engineering / Infrastructure sector project experience
  • 4 years + experience in an Engineering role
  • Strong time management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • HND, HNC or Degree in engineering related discipline eg Mechanical or Civil Engineering


Duties include:

  • Reporting to and Assisting the Project Manager and Senior management team
  • Managing allocated engineering aspects of the allocated project
  • Reviewing and creating risk assessments and method statements
  • Dealing with and working with the sub contractors
  • Ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently
  • Assist with project plans and work with the key stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Quality control
  • Procurement


Further details

Large water sector project, the company are the main contractor delivering design and build of the the civil, mechanical and electrical works on the project.

40 hours Monday to Friday

£45,000 to £50,000 depending on your experience level
