This is a newly created position, that has come from our continued growth.


Job Description

  • Oversee and manage daily treasury operations
  • Develop and execute the FX strategy
  • Monitor and manage financial risk
  • Managing Banking relationships
  • Manage the funding requirements and manage the external debt of the group
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and regulatory requirements
  • Supervise cash management activities
  • Managing three direct reports in the treasury team
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management including the Finance Director, the CFO, the Finance sub committee and external parties
  • Continually evaluate systems and continuous improvement opportunities in the team


The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Treasury should have:

  • A qualification would be advantageous (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AMCT/MCT)
  • Would suit a candidate who is currently a deputy or assistant treasurer looking to step up into their first Head of role
  • Proven experience in a treasury role within a large organisation
  • Experience of managing a team or individuals
  • Proficiency in treasury software including TMS, banking platforms and SAP
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • You must have experience of re-banking a large complex organisation
