Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Kitchen Designer or Sales Designer at Silver Birch Interiors in Hamilton. The Kitchen Designer will be responsible for designing and detailing truly exquisite kitchens, working closely with clients to tailor each design to their requirements with a focus on attention to detail.


Job Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities and duties of a sales designer:

·        Welcoming potential clients & customers in showroom starting the customer journey

·        Obtain interest by discussion around product and Design establishing lead viability

·        Record all required lead details within the Silver Birch template format

·        Develop an understanding of the requirements and expectations of the lead

·        Assist in selecting products and materials giving accurate advice to clients

·        Organise survey to detail all relevant information required to create design & costings

·        Produce creative and practical working designs and quote documents with accuracy

·        Develop excellent business relationships with customers

·        Control the selling process with efficiency and in a timely manner to a closed sale

·        Complete all contract documents, required plans, relevant information for Project Manager

·        Effectively manage multiple leads simultaneously to a close to meet set sales targets

·        Accurately record all lead communication on Silver Birch template format

·        Communicate accurate lead update to management team during regular sales meetings

·        Maintain to the Silver Birch standards all office, kitchen and showroom areas

·        Drive to meet and exceed minimum required sales levels

·        Keep up to date with industry trends
