📍 Location: UK/Europe (Remote/On-site as required)
⏳ Duration: Initial 4 months, with potential extension to 6-12 months
💼 Commitment: 4-5 days per week
💼 Daily Rate: £550 - £1000 💷
- 10-12 Years’ Experience: £550 - £700 🌟
- 13-15 Years’ Experience: £700 - £850 🚀
- 15+ Years’ Experience / Highly Specialized: £850 - £1000 💼
About the Project:
We are working with a well-trusted client on a transformative Inventory Planning Optimization project with a major European retailer This high-impact project is focused on revolutionizing merchandise planning—aiming for optimal inventory levels, enhanced demand forecasting, and streamlined in-season trading to maximize efficiency and profitability.
🚀 Role Overview
We're on the lookout for an expert in Merchandise Planning with 10-15 years in senior roles, ideally from fashion, sports, or lifestyle retail. If you're passionate about driving impact in inventory strategy and merchandise planning, we want to hear from you
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Lead in-depth baseline analysis of current inventory levels
- Evaluate and refine merchandise planning processes across key functions
- Provide benchmark insights and identify strategies for stock optimization, including markdowns, tools, and training
- Offer advanced demand forecasting techniques for ideal inventory levels
- Assess in-season trading to maximize sales and minimize markdowns 📈
- Define target inventory mix across the supply chain
- Support ROI financial evaluation and benefit estimation
- Collaborate with our consulting team and stakeholders to drive successful project delivery
💼 What We’re Looking For
- 10-15 years’ experience in merchandise planning with top retailers (EU, UK, US), ideally in fashion
- Strong expertise in range and assortment planning, demand forecasting, and in-season trading
- Data-driven, analytical mindset with an eye for detail 🔍
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Consulting experience preferred but not essential
