IAM Security Engineer (DevSecOps)

A Financial Services client in London is seeking an IAM Security Engineer (DevSecOps) to join the Information Security Team, to work on the modernisation of their platform and infrastructure services.


Responsibilities:

  • Part of the implementation and delivery of identity and access management (IAM) solutions with a DevOps mindset, ensuring least privilege access and role-based controls.
  • Take part in the automation and lifecycle management of user identities and roles using IAM technology (e.g., SailPoint IdentityIQ).
  • Integrate SailPoint with CI/CD pipelines to enforce access governance and compliance checks during software deployments.
  • Automation of identity governance tasks by developing APIs and scripts.
  • Audit IAM policies and user activities for the detection of access-related security incidents.


You will have:

  • Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines for automated software builds, testing, and deployment.
  • Using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Managed configuration using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Experience in designing and deploying scalable on-premise and cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Containerization technologies i.e. Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Set up monitoring and alerting systems to track infrastructure and application performance.
  • A professional manner, self-motivated and eager to learn attitude.


This is a contract position based in London, operating on a hybrid setup of 3 days per week in the office.
