Electrical Design Engineer Overview


This is a great opportunity to further develop your electrical design skills with a company who offers structured yet personalised mentoring and coaching supporting your growth as an engineer.

The role will offer you responsibility with the opportunity to develop your skills alongside more experienced colleagues in a team environment. You will undertake building services design for new installations and alterations, working on a variety of buildings across the private and education sectors. The role offers excellent prospects for career progression together with training and experience to fully develop your potential.


Responsibilities

  • The production of full building designs
  • Client liaison and arranging of client meetings.
  • Assist in the management of project finances.
  • Development of Client relationships
  • Appointing, coordinating and managing other consultants and contractors, both internally and externally


Qualifications

  • Preferably CIBSE but not essential
  • Consulting/design background
  • Minimum 3 years experience
  • Good organisational skills, and a team player
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of AutoCad
  • Current, full clean driving licence.
  • Good project management skills, specification and report writing.
