Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Pre-Sales & Sales Enterprise Architect to join our dynamic team, focusing on the European region. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience working with various European enterprise clients, a proven track record of solving complex technical and business challenges along with a deep understanding of local regulations. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional technical and architectural expertise, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement and Solution Design:
  • Lead pre-sales engagements with European financial institutions, comprehensively understanding their technical and business requirements.
  • Design and architect tailored enterprise solutions that align with clients' strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Present and articulate complex technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
  • Technical Leadership and Innovation:
  • Lead the development of comprehensive enterprise architecture frameworks, encompassing data architecture, application architecture, and infrastructure architecture.
  • Drive innovation by staying current with emerging technologies and recommending their application to solve business challenges and enhance client solutions.
  • Provide architectural oversight and technical direction throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Sales Support and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategic account plans, identify new business opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
  • Create compelling proposals, RFP responses, and proof-of-concepts that demonstrate the value and ROI of proposed solutions.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members and support their professional development.
  • Relationship Building and Client Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and trust.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic insights and recommendations to address their evolving business needs.
  • Industry Expertise and Regulatory Compliance:
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of local regulations, compliance standards, and industry trends affecting the European financial sector.
  • Ensure proposed solutions adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements and assist clients in navigating compliance complexities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience and Expertise:
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with significant pre-sales and sales roles.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions that drive business value and achieve client objectives.
  • Extensive experience working with European financial and other regulated institutions and a deep understanding of their unique challenges and regulatory environment.
  • Technical and Architectural Skills:
  • Deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing, AI/ML, data management, cybersecurity, modernization, IoT and curiosity to gain knowledge of emerging technologies such as GenAI, Quantum.
  • Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and resilient architectures that address both technical and business challenges.
  • Ability to develop and present detailed technical solutions, architecture diagrams, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Engineering Depth:
  • Hands-on experience with system integration, software development, and IT infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and enterprise software solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, or industry-specific standards are highly desirable.

Location:

  • This position is based in London, UK and requires the ability to travel extensively within the European region to meet with clients and stakeholders.
