Private Client Tax Senior Manager – CTA Qualified


Our client is a rapidly growing Chartered Accountancy Firm who is a rising star in their field. As a key part of their growth, they are looking for talented Tax Managers with Private Client experience.

We are seeking a dynamic Private Client Tax Senior Manager, based in Sheffield. The successful candidate will be providing proactive tax advice to Private Clients of the firm.


The individual must be very organized, hardworking, and can confidently deal with team members and Partners. There will be a requirement for the role to be office-based to be able to embed themselves in the team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Private Client team with technical skills and management skills
  • Reviewing complex tax returns as prepared by the tax compliance team
  • Leading the operational aspects of the Private Client department
  • Providing technical sign-off for advisory work prepared by others
  • Manage projects from start to finish
  • Take a lead in the development of junior members
  • Leading on the provision of quality and value-added tax advice to the Private Clients
  • Undertaking client work for their allocated portfolio of clients

Essential Experience and Qualifications

  • Demonstrate technical ability in the Private Client Space
  • CTA, STEP or other relevant qualifications
  • Ability to deal with private clients, identify opportunities, agree fees and deliver work
  • Ideally someone who has experience working with Wills and Trusts
