Rate: £600 - £650 per day (Inside IR35)

We are looking to recruit an IBM ACE / IIB Developer for a global software and solutions organisation. Working for a customer in central London you will be responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining our my client's integration platform using IBM ACE, MQ, and MQMFT.


You will evaluate business requirements, produce estimates and functional specifications, and support all testing cycles. Your role will also involve providing high-quality documentation and presenting information to various stakeholders in appropriate formats.


This is a hybrid role and you will be required to work on site in London 40% of the time. Valid SC Clearance is preferred. If not cleared you will need to wait to obtain SC before starting the contract.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, support, and maintain my client's integration platform using IBM ACE, MQ, and MQMFT.
  • Evaluate business requirements and produce accurate estimates and functional specifications.
  • Support all testing cycles to ensure the quality and reliability of integration solutions.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality documentation.
  • Communicate effectively and present information to a variety of stakeholders in suitable formats.
  • Work within Agile methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Transfer knowledge to other team members to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, organisation, and self-motivation in all tasks.


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Proven experience in designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining integration platforms using IBM ACE, MQ, and MQMFT.
  • Strong understanding of business requirements analysis and the ability to produce detailed functional specifications.
  • Experience in supporting testing cycles and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to present information clearly to various stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile working methodologies.
  • Ability to transfer knowledge and mentor other team members.
  • High level of professionalism, organization, and self-motivation.
