Purpose: Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Europe label production plants’ business application system operation and integration with ERP and sensors installed on production machine You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, IT and the business application vendor to optimize our processes and maintain compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:



A) System Administration and Security Management


Coordinate and maintain the CERM MES system, ensuring data integrity and system availability.


Collaborate with internal collaborators to understand business requirements and translate them for MES system enhancement and continuous improvement.


Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime.


Perform monthly patch management for the system i.e. servers – operating system, database and end point devices – physical PC, virtual PC and tablets or scanner (if application). Coordinate testing and confirmation with each plant key users in the test environment before promote the changes to production environments.


Ensure users administration are carried out promptly and assigned correctly with the required roles and permissions.


Annual budgeting and cost allocation for the system



B) System Support

Be a liaison and act as 2nd tier support between the end users and the software experts to address issues that cannot be resolved in-house by each manufacturing plant super users.


Collaborate and working with functional and technical experts, both internal and external, to diagnose, fix, and prevent issues.


Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues to ensure data accuracy and real-time monitoring.


Collaborate and leverage value of customizations to benefit and standardize the processes with all the manufacturing plants.



C) Cross-functional Teamwork


Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and IT teams to align EBR system capabilities with business needs


Develop user requirement specifications for business software applications


Identify and build test scripts for validation testing


Provide technical expertise and mentorship on EBR-related projects and initiatives


Continuous Improvement:


Identify opportunities for process improvements within the EBR system and automation equipment integration


Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency



D) Compliance and Documentation


Ensure that the MES system and its integrations meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.


Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, changes, and validation processes.


Follow up with each manufacturing plant super users to review and confirm their business process flows are always up-to-date and reflecting the latest enhancements implemented.


E) General Tasks


Adhere to SATO’s J-SOX requirements, IT security policies, OWASP and other processes governance.


Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.



F) Working hours and Travel


UK working hours as standard. The person needs to be flexible-standby in case of issues 24/7 since we run double shifts at the factories and reachable in case of issues. The position requires intensive travel (multiple times per month possible) between the factories in Poland, France and UK.



Experience:


  • Proven experience in managing manufacturing ERP and execution systems, with expertise in CERM software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to system maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams.
  • ERP Functional Knowledge: 3 years.
  • Application Change Implementation: At least 3 project cycles.
