Beach House are looking for an experienced person who would like to join us as a Commis Chef. Working under our incredible Head Chef, in our amazing large newly built kitchen you will be completely customer focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach.

You will be responsible for assisting the senior chef in the preparation and presentation of all dishes in your allocated area, ensuring that all guests receive efficient service and high-quality dishes.

You will be willing to gain experience in all sections of the kitchen and ensure that company and legal requirements are always adhered to.

This position will include shift work working five days out of seven including weekends and bank holidays. Additional hours may be required to support our hotel during our busier periods. You will need to have access to your own transport due to the location of our hotel.

Duties briefly comprise:
* Looking after the area allocated to him or her
* Food preparation tasks (mincing, garnishes, etc)
* Hot and cold cooking tasks (simple cooking, seasoning, etc)
* Cleaning and tidying the area allocated to him or her

Key Responsibilities
* To ensure that health and safety rules are applied and respected (especially HACCP)
* To look after his or her own area
* To ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of working areas (floors, equipment, tables, etc)

Entry Requirements

Skills
* Knowledge of kitchen equipment
* Complete command of culinary basics

Pay: £12.01-£14.01 per hour
