You will be a professional M & E Project Manager with minim 5 years site project experience in the installation of significant aggregate processing infrastructure and equipment.

The Company specialise in the groundworks construction and quarrying sectors, across the UK and Ireland. Our Turnkey division specialises in state of the art installations for some of the UK leading aggregate processing companies.

Duo are already involved in interesting projects like the HS2 rail link and M55 motorway expansion, in addition to £ multimillion turnkey quarrying projects. New diverse and challenging projects are coming in the work pipeline and we need a steady, experienced pair of hands to support the business. Working as part of a small team both in the Coventry office and on site as required. Competitive rate of pay, £5000pa car allowance (or company vehicle), enhanced holiday entitlement and a generous health benefit plan.


MUST BE WILLING AND FLEXIBLE TO TRAVEL TO DIFFERENT PROJECT SITES ACROSS THE UK AND IRELAND AS REQUIRED BY BUSINESS NEED

Experience with Wash Plant installations/Steels Erection/Civils/Drainage a definite advantage


Reports to; Turnkey Divisional Director


Key responsibilities

  • Provide on-site leadership for multi project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
  • Manage all aspects of multiple projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
  • Report on projects success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
  • Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings
  • Monitor staff performance and complete performance reviews
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
  • Manage project scope and changes
  • Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution
  • Set and continually manage project and program expectations while delegating and managing deliverable with team members and stakeholders
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals,
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and programme team
  • Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
  • Continue professional development in order to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices
  • Proven success in providing on site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
  • Performance reviews and staff development
  • Monitor the performance of staff
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ensure good client and project team relationship
  • Building a relationship with our supply chain to emboss a team ethos
  • Build a relationship with the client’s management team on site to win confidence on how the works are carried out daily
  • Develop and encourage the team to improve and progress through the organisation
  • Zero HE & E incidents on site


Skills and Experience

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications (preferred)
  • 3rd Level Project Management qualification
  • SMSTS or equivalent (essential)
  • Appointed Person (AP) ticket an advantage
  • 5 years on site experience (absolute minimum)
  • Temporary Works Co-Ordinator
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • NEBOSH or IOSH (preferred)
  • Lifting Supervisor
  • Clean driving license
  • MS Office literate
  • First Aid


Salary £70 -£80 K (including car allowance) . Continual professional training and excellent career progression possibilities.
